About Us

Hendry Pens is a family business run by me, Aaron Hendry and is dedicated to making fine handcrafted writing instruments. I was inspired and trained by my Grandfather, Peter Hendry, an award winning wood turner.

The materials and parts for each pen are selected for their beauty and quality, to bring you a unique work of art that looks great and writes smoothly.

Each pen is shaped on a lathe using hand tools, before being hand polished to a high gloss finish and assembled.

I check every pen for quality and function before placing it in a  presentation box with its Certificate of Authenticity.

Running my own business gives me the opportunity to be a volunteer on the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway and potter around in Daisy, my 1967 Morris Minor.
